Texaswheel 2008

As the end of 2008 approaches its time to reflect:

• It's hard to believe that the reinvention of Texaswheel began in May. 

• The TW forum looks like it has been there for a very long time. 

• Membership is up... way up

•  November and December almost 200 joined each month.
  

• Buyins and Freerolls - oh my
  

• Texaswheel has begun the transition from a freerollers forum to a buy in forum with occasional freerolls
• The new forum with the software to protect member games has been a resounding success
• CarbonPoker - the Texaswheel coupons to protect the Saturday freerolls for TW members - WoW it works, WoW does it work
• Money added games - all Texaswheel buyins have money added. Hasn't been easy to negotiate the deals with the different poker rooms. Texaswheel had a reputation as a freeroller forum. For 2009 with the economy in a recession - money added games might be harder and harder to acquire.
• Credits for participation in the buyins... 2008 the Texaswheel Swag and More Shop was begun. 2009 will see many things happening with the Shop and rewarding buyin players
  

• Bounty games

• Begun in October bounty series have been great fun. What goes better with Texaswheel than the Old West gunslinging bounty hunter? Look for 2009 to have more bounty hunter games.
• Killboard begun in November and will run over two months. The Texaswheeler with the most kills (bounties) wins Texaswheel gear. 2009 will see the Killboard become a regular Texaswheel feature.
  

• Future

• Texaswheel continues to evolve... and 2009 will continue  the evolution of Texaswheel. New games and new sites.
