Last week a sad happening at Texaswheel - a member was banned. This is the third member banned for password theft since Reinventing Texaswheel. But from something so sad comes something very good. A new poker partnership with NastyDuck Poker a non-USA site that took a stand against password thieves. The poker password theft site had games scheduled at NastyDuck and NastyDuck cancelled all of their games. WooHoo NastyDuck. The Texaswheel members salute you! And so, Texaswheel is looking forward to a long relationship with NastyDuck beginning with Saturdays in July. Texaswheel games scheduled for our European and Canadian members on Saturdays at 8:00 PM CET (2:00PM ET)
Last month was the first month getting games scheduled for Texaswheel and creating the June calendar was an experiment in many different techniques. The main goal - make it easy for the Texaswheel members to navigate. Anyone that wants to kick back and have a little fun playing some poker shouldn't be frustrated because they can't find what time the games are or where they are. Improvements still need to be made... but the process of producing the calendar is no longer as painful. Or boring.... so boring I would fall asleep in the process of posting.
Easy solution to the boredom - Pandora. Seeded a few stations and created music to build a poker tournament calendar. I love all sorts of music from Smooth Jazz, Chillout, AC/DC, Glenn Frey. Since seeing some Miami Vice episodes on Hulu I'm now building a Miami Vice station. Think with a few more stations I will be able to create the August calendar in record time. And not because there are less games.... WOW there are so many member only poker games, at least one every night. Anyone who wants to relax and have some fun will have no problem finding a game to play.
