Good news about 365Bonitas Poker and maybe about online poker in the US

OMG Texaswheelers where has 2010 gone? In a few short weeks the fat man will arrive followed by that baby in the top hat. Yep Christmas and New Year's are rapidly approaching. Everyone is spending time shopping and enjoying their time with family and friends. Of course you will suddenly remember why you only see some of the family around the Holiday's... because they drive you nuts!! Oh wait... that's me... YMMV. As soon as I get the details you can be sure Texaswheelers will be the first to know!! But I can say just having 365Bonitas Poker back with some unique games is a terrific Christmas present for me. When I am looking for a game to play it is rather boring to see the same games everywhere. Senator Reid is working on an online poker bill he wants to get passed before the lame duck Congress is gone. He is beholding to his major contributors in Nevada for getting him reelected so the bill has some provisions just for them. What me cynical??? The bill as being shopped around now would only allow online gaming to be provided in the US by casinos already licensed in the US. And don't think your favorite poker site can just open a land based casino in the US so they can apply for an online gaming license. The bill protects the current US casinos by having a provision that the casinos must have been licensed in the US for the last 5 years. Yep, everyone preaches free trade until they see a big competitive advantage with a monopoly. If the bill should become law you can expect some legal action from the non-US gaming marketplace that would find themselves locked out by the US government exclusionary policy

August leagues at 365Bonitas poker return and running bad

We have all experienced a bad run. Whether playing online poker or live there comes a time where the Poker Gods seem to enjoy tormenting us. The losses mount, the bad beats abound and every opponent hits their one outer again and again. Bad runs happen, it is part of poker. It is one of the reasons bankroll management is so important, so we have a cushion to ride out the bad times.  When I am running bad I of course pray the time in the valley will be short. I cut back playing or move to another site to wait out the bad run.  Does that work? Usually. Sometimes even a move doesn't help. Practice patience to wait it out. The bad run will end, so relax and take a break.

Losing French Vanilla Ice Cream Wonder if poker can fill the void

When I was a child a trip to Baskin-Robbins was a big deal. There weren’t any close by, so it was always a special treat for the family to get into the car and “go for ice cream”  I remember always opening the car door, after the long drive, to the blast furnace outside and rushing to get into the cool of Baskin-Robbins. And of course I had to seriously look at all the ice cream in the freezer before making those important decision… cone or cup, two scoops or one? Now a part of my childhood is being ripped away!!  Baskin-Robbins has announced they are retiring French Vanilla Ice Cream. How can this be? French Vanilla never to caress another cone or dribble down a little chin… I am heartbroken. Dare I think of it? Poor French Vanilla, shivering, alone, shoved into the back to spend eternity in frigid storage. Is this the way to treat an old friend… a cherished memory from our childhood….. More

The loss of French Vanilla, it is devastating and I am not sure I will get over it  anytime soon. But life must go on. Poker is such fun, can it help to fill the void and shoo away the sadness? Spent a bit of time last night after busting out of the 2k freezeout looking for a game to play. Rain rain go away - its all indoors today working & playing poker

I am so very cranky today after two nights of little sleep. Thunderstorms seem to love parking right over my bed and it appears I have not yet found the amount of coffee that kills the cranky. Maybe working on my new website gigglytees will help along with a few games of poker tonight.  Wish I could nap but thunderstorms are all around and it has been established over the last two nights they park over my bed.  Let’s talk about poker… thunderstorms are just too depressing
